The very best care from the largest practice in the city
Established in 1990 by Steve Morris and based in Brighton & Hove, the Sussex Back Pain Clinic has developed as the major osteopathy centre in the county to specialise in the treatment of mechanical spinal related conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, whiplash associated disorders, sports injury, headaches and pain from arthritic changes.
We believe in empowering our patients to take control of their own condition and we ensure that you have the knowledge and skills, which along with expert diagnosis and the very best level of manual therapy, allows you regain proper function and keep it! This has lead to the vast majority of over 10,000 patients having greatly benefited from our effective care. We not only treat your symptoms and get you out of pain and discomfort as quickly as possible but get to the real cause of the problem to help you keep your back as healthy as possible for the future.
An Expert Osteopath
We have a diverse team of highly skilled, fully qualified, registered and insured male and female osteopaths. This allows us to offer you practitioners with different areas of expertise including osteopaths qualified insports injuries, lower limb problems, postural problems, work place ergonomics, classical osteopathy, cranial osteopathy and child and baby osteopathic care.
Working within a larger clinic allows our practitioners to meet on a regular basis to discuss patients’ cases and to gain feedback and advice from colleagues, so that you can benefit from a team approach if you have a more complicated problem.
As part of our service to our patients we are constantly looking at new and innovative ways to be at the forefront of spinal treatment and to more efficiently help us help you. This is why we have installed an IDD Therapy Unit from the USA to offer you an effective non-surgical choice for the treatment of slipped discs, wear and tear and chronic back pain.
We also have the Spinal Mouse Scanner which gives a graphical representation on how each joint of your spine is moving, this allows us to track improvements in key regions of your spine to ensure that treatment is being most effective.
Our success as a practice has been founded on our patient centred approach and that’s why over 90% of our new patients come to us by recommendation from existing patients that we have helped. We all very much appreciate the faith and trust that these patients put in us to send along their loved ones and we always ensure that we are never too busy to help any of your friends or family that you recommend us to.
