As a CHEK exercise coach, Shaun possesses the skills and knowledge to design and implement personalised exercise programs that incorporate traditional exercise with mind body exercises. A key component that defines a CHEK Exercise Coach is the series of assessments used to identify core, spinal and autonomic nervous system dysfunctions.
Not all exercises are good for you – incorrect exercise prescription can lead to instability, motion restriction and pain. Many people should not be exercising at high levels of intensity and, when this is the case, they generally see no results and continue to make any painful condition worse. Exercising in the correct way will improve your posture, strengthen your supporting muscles and improve balance and coordination, also helping you to regain energy, reduce your stress and relieve your pain.
